Educated as an Electrical Engineer (BSC EE from Queen's University, MSc/PhD EE from University of Calgary) I have sought to straddle the boundary between engineering and medicine in all my efforts for almost 30 years. An avid technologist with a passion for designs products and solutions that help the lives of the people that use them. The lion's share of my graduate work targeted lab on chip and single cell cancer diagnostic tools and technologies. My medical device professional career has been equally represented between cochlear implants and spinal/peripheral neuromodulation systems.
