Behnum A. Habibi, M.D., is the Vice Chair for Research in the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Temple University. He also serves as the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Residency Program Director, and as the Temple University Health System's Chair for Practitioner Wellness.
Dr. Habibi has degrees and post-graduate training experience from the University of Washington, Case Western Reserve University, Columbia University Medical Center, Weill Cornell Medicine, the Hospital for Special Surgery, and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. Dr. Habibi's research efforts focus on interventional pain management, neuromodulation, and novel diagnostic and therapy-monitoring tools in pain medicine. Dr. Habibi currently serves on the Board of Directors for the American Academy of Thermology, the national scientific society for medical infrared imaging.
