My academic training is diverse, including graduate degrees in electrical engineering and post-doctoral training in psychology from Stanford University. My academic research has been funded by the National Institutes of Health, the Department of Defense, and NASA. The findings of my research have been featured in mainstream media outlets such as The Guardian and the Los Angeles Times. I hold several patents in the areas of acoustic signal processing and neurotechnology.
