Andrew Yang, MD, MS, is a neurosurgeon at the Barrow Neurological Institute, where he serves as Director of Epilepsy Surgery. He completed residency at the University of Pennsylvania, followed by Fellowshop in Stereotactic, Functional, and Epilepsy Neurosurgery at Emory University.
Dr. Yang also leads the Human Neurophysiology & Neuromodulation (HNN) Lab at the Barrow, wherein efforts aim to provide translational links between human neurophysiology and clinical neuromodulation to guide rational design of next-generation brain stimulation therapies for epilepsy, as well as for investigative indications in cognitive and psychiatric disorders.
He holds faculty appointments in the Department of Neurosurgery, and the Department of Translational Neuroscience at the Barrow, as well as in the Department of Biomedical Engineering, and the Department of Neuroscience at Arizona State University.
