Dr. Quraishi is an Associate Professor of Neurology in the Comprehensive Epilepsy Center at the Yale School of Medicine. After pursuing biomedical engineering training at Johns Hopkins and Rice Universities he completed residency and epilepsy fellowship at Yale where he has remained as faculty since 2015. His current roles are as Director of the Center for Neurostimulation in Epilepsy and Director of the Yale New Haven Hospital Epilepsy Monitoring Unit. Dr. Quraishi's clinical and research interests are in neuromodulation for epilepsy, modulation of cognition with brain stimulation, and long-term ambulatory electrocorticography from implanted neurostimulators, as well as more basic research in potassium channel function in epilepsy.
