I am a visiting scholar at the University of Michigan Medical School, specializing in neurogastroenterology within the Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology. My research focuses on the effects of vagal nerve stimulation (VNS) on gastric slow waves in type 2 diabetic rats. This project aims to uncover mechanisms through which neuromodulation influences gastrointestinal motility, with potential applications for conditions like diabetic gastric dysmotility. Attending the NANS Annual Meeting would provide invaluable insights into neuromodulation advancements, foster collaborations, and allow me to share my findings with experts.
