Elyse S. Kemmerer White, Ph.D., is a neuroscientist and technology executive with almost 20 years of experience spanning academic research, medical device development and commercialization, and federal R&D administration. Currently serving as Program Director within the Division of Translational Research at the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke (NINDS), she manages a broad portfolio within the Blueprint MedTech Program, where she guides the development and commercialization of breakthrough neurotechnologies.
Prior to joining NINDS, Elyse served as Chief Science Officer at Neuropeak Pro, where she led the successful development and commercial launch of innovative technology solutions for cognitive and mental health and performance optimization. Her leadership resulted in multiple publications, clinical trials, and strategic partnerships with major sports organizations within the NFL, NBA, and PGA. Prior to that, as co-founder of Tangent Medical Technologies, she drove the development and market adoption of a novel intravenous access device from concept to commercialization, securing over $25 million in venture capital funding before the company's successful acquisition by ICU Medical.
Elyse holds a Ph.D. in Neuroscience from the University of Michigan and a B.S. in Behavioral Neuroscience from Lehigh University.
