My research focuses on developing MR pulse sequences and reconstruction algorithms to guide and monitor ultrasound thermal therapy, particularly focused ultrasound (FUS). Current research includes transcranial focused ultrasound, developing new methods and systems for ablation and neuromodulation in the spine, and real-time treatment monitoring during focused ultrasound. My long-term career goal is to continually contribute to the field of MR-guided ultrasound therapy and to make a fundamental impact on patient care by exploring new, less invasive treatment options.
