I am an Anesthesiologist Board Certified in Pain Medicine with specialized training in Interventional techniques. I am devoted and committed to the Mexican-American community in Southern California by providing my expertise and experience (anesthesia, spinal cord stimulation, chronic pain management withprimarily non-surgical therapies). I have now included Regenerative Medicine in my medical practice & perform PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) injections.
I was born in Tijuana, Baja CA Mexico, which is half an hour from my office. I also attended elementary school in San Ysidro, California. It is an international city in the United States, bordering with Mexico. Subsequently completed a dual college engineering degree (Electrical and Biomedical) at the University of Southern CA. After working as an electrical engineer for JPL/Caltech (NASA base) for 6 years, I then traveled to the Midwest and the East Coast for my medical training during my husband's Navy career.
Since all my family lives in Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico and my mother is now 93 years old, I returned to open a medical practice which I have managed since 2011. I have practiced pain medicine since 2000, but Neuromodulation has allowed me to combine medicine and engineering. My two adult children are also engineers.
