Evgeniy I. Kreydin, MD is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Urology at the University of Southern California and is on active staff at Rancho Los Amigos National Rehabilitation Center, an NIH-funded Spinal Cord Injury Model Systems facility. He specializes in the urological care of patients with neurological disease. He has broad research interests, but he is particularly focused on restoration of urological function in patients with spinal cord injury. To this end, he has spearheaded several trials on neuromodulation to improve bladder function after spinal cord injury and is currently participating in projects to develop neuroprostheses for restoration of urological function in this population. Dr. Kreydin trained in urologic surgery at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston and completed a fellowship in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery at UCLA. Prior to that, he obtained his undergraduate degree at Harvard College and his medical degree at the Harvard-MIT Divisiton of Health Sciences and Technology of Harvard Medical School. He is an active member of the American Urological Association and the Society of Urodynamics, Female Pelvic Medicine and Urogenital Reconstruction (SUFU).
