Dr. Kim began his career at Loyola University Stritch School of Medicine. He completed his residency in anesthesiology and fellowship in pain management at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and is board-certified in Pain Medicine, Anesthesiology, and Integrative Medicine. He also completed a master's in functional medicine at the University of South Florida. His multiple society memberships include the International Association for the Study of Pain, the Spine Interventional Society, American Academy of Pain Medicine, Regional Pain and Anesthesia Society. North American Spine Society, Federation Pain Care Access, Clinical Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation Society, and the North American Neuromodulation Society. He is the past president of the Pennsylvania Pain Society and secretary of Federal Pain Care Access.
