Ruth Stephanie Bochat is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from New York University and spent six fulfilling years at the bedside in various specialties, including medical intensive care, subacute medical telemetry, and emergency medicine. Ruth then obtained a Master of Science in Nursing from Downstate Medical Center and holds national certification with the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
Ruth is an active member of several professional organizations and committees, including the North American Neuromodulation Society (NANS), the American Nurses Association, and Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, where she was inducted into the Psi Tau Chapter. She is fluent in Spanish and collaborates with her physicians to manage and educate patients of all ages with chronic pain. Ruth is dedicated to providing compassionate and competent care and continues to explore new modalities to expand her knowledge and improve her patients’ quality of life.
In her free time, Ruth enjoys hiking, skiing, and fishing.
