Dr. Panchal is CEO of National Institute of Spine and Pain, and founder of 3 ASCs. He was previously Associate Professor in the Departments of Oncology and Anesthesiology and Director of Interventional Pain Medicine at the Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, Florida. Prior to that he served as Co-Director of the Chronic Pain Service and Pain Fellowship Director at Johns Hopkins University, and Director, Division of Pain Medicine at Cornell University. Dr Panchal trained at Albany Medical College of Union University, anesthesiology residency at Northwestern University, interventional pain medicine fellowship at the University of Illinois in Chicago. He also completed the Business of Medicine Graduate Program at Johns Hopkins University.
Dr. Panchal has held board director/executive/committee roles for NASS/ASA/AAPM/EPA/APPD/NCCN/ASRAPM and authored numerous abstracts/journal articles/book chapters; editorial reviewer for Clinical Researcher/Anesthesia&Analgesia/Pain/Pain Medicine/Clinical Journal of Pain, and Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal of Pain Medicine and Palliative Care/Seminars in Pain Medicine; and textbook editor. He has lectured widely at the national/international level and is sought after as an expert for MIS surgery, regenerative/pain procedures, and novel analgesics/neurostimulation device/spinal surgery implant development, and research design.
Dr. Panchal is an advisor for early stage life science companies/investment funds in the neurologic/orthopedic/ID/AI/machine learning/spatial proteomics/oncology sectors.
