Adlai Pappy, MD, MBA, is a clinical instructor and attending physician in the Interventional Chronic Pain Division and Department of Anesthesiology at Brigham and Women's Hospital.
Throughout his training, Dr. Pappy has earned numerous accolades, such as the 2023 Resident/Fellow of the Year by the American Society of Regional Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine and the 2023 Marina Bizzarri-Schmid Compassionate Care Award from Brigham and Women’s Hospital. He was also selected as chief resident for the academic year 2022-2023. Additionally, he has presented nationally and internationally. He has won awards at society meetings, including 2nd place prize at the International World Congress Regional Anesthesia and Pain Medicine Oral Presentation competition and a grant from the American Society of Regional Anesthesia and Pain Medicine.
Dedicated to advancing chronic pain management, he focuses on advanced therapies, including neuromodulation, pharmacotherapy, and minimally invasive spine surgery, and he looks to advance the field of pain medicine by being actively involved in several national committees. He currently serves as the Vice Chair of the NANS Diversity and Outreach Committee and as a member of the scientific abstract review committees for both NANS and ASRA Pain Medicine.
